Putting The Pouch On

When you receive the pouch hold it up as seen in the 1st picture. Fold the pouch inside itself as shown in 2nd picture. The pouch will now have two layers. The curved end, with the stitching, is the front of the pouch. Always keep the stitching at the front. Ensure the pouch opening is facing up.

Hammock Hold

(this position is perfect for Newborns 0-6mths)

Put on sling as shown in “PUTTING POUCH ON”. Ensure the seam at the front of the pouch. Hold baby with her legs folded together in front of her. Open the pouch with your other hand.

Place baby between the two layers of fabric inside the pouch. Ensure that baby's butt is sitting on the center seam. Ensure baby is sitting deep in the pouch by pulling fabric up on both sides of baby so baby is securely lying in the hammock. Now you can let go.

Hip Carry

(For 6 months and older)

Put pouch on as shown in “PUTTING POUCH ON”. Since baby always sits on the seam and this carry baby is sitting just forward of your hip, you need to have the seam lined up there. Hold baby up over your shoulder above pouch opening. Lower baby in and pull their legs through. Then pull inside layer of fabric down to the back of their knees. Pull outside layer of fabric up to top of baby's shoulders. This creates a seat.
